There is a large number of scientific evidence that low carbohydrate diet is the best option for people who want to lose weight, which at the same time optimizes health and reduces the risk of illness.

What foods you should consume depends on several things, including how healthy you are, how much exercise you do, and how much weight you want to lose. Consider this as a general guide, not as a rule.

Basics of diet
Consume: Meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, high-fat dairy products, fats, healthy oils, certain tuberous groceries, non-gluten foods as well as low-carbohydrate dietary bread.

Do not consume: Sugar, artificial sugars from corn – HFCS, wheat, seeds, trans-fats, artificial sweeteners, “dietary” and low-fat – low-fat products and high-processed foods.

Avoid the following 7 ingredients in the following order of importance:
  • Sugars: Soft drinks, processed fruit juices, candies, ice cream, etc .;
  • Gluten-free beans: Wheat, barley and rye including bread and pasta;
  • Trans fats: “Hydrogenated” or “partially hydrogenated” oils;
  • High-level seeds of Omega 6 and oils thereof: soybean seed, sunflower, grape seed, corn, saffron and oilseed rape;
  • Artificial sweeteners: Aspartame, saccharin, sucrose. Use Stevie instead of them;
  • Dietary and low-fat products: Many dairy products, cereals, crackers, etc .;
  • Highly processed foods: Avoid as much groceries as you can.

The diet should be based on these unprocessed, low-carbohydrate foods.
  • Meat: Beef, lamb, pork, chicken and other. Organic meat is the best;
  • Fish: Salmon, trout and others. Naturally caught fish is the best;
  • Eggs: Enriched with Omega-3 or domestic eggs are the best;
  • Vegetables: spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and others;
  • Fruit: Apples, oranges, pears, blueberries, strawberries;
  • Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, etc .;
  • High-fat dairy products: cheese, butter, sour cream, yogurt;
  • Fats and oils: Coconut oil, butter, ointment, olive oil and fish oil.
If you want to lose weight, you need to be careful with the consumption of cheese and walnuts because they are “infectious” for consumption. Also, you do not eat more than one piece of fruit per day.

If you are healthy, active and your goal is not to lose weight, then you can afford to consume products with a little more carbohydrates.
  • Tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes and others;

  • Lettuce: Lentils, beans, etc.
You can consume the following products in moderation, if desired:
  • Dark chocolate: Choose organic brands with or over 70% cocoa;
  • Wine: Choose dry wines without the addition of sugar or carbohydrates.
  • Dark chocolate is rich in antioxidants and has other health benefits if consumed in moderation. However, be aware that dark chocolate and alcohol can hinder your progress if you consume it in large quantities.
